In Asia, South Korea President Lee Jae-myung is chairing the Korea-Central Asia summit through the 17th. At 3:00 PM Hong Kong time, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will deliver the State of the Union address. At 8:15 PM, European Central Bank Vice President Luis de Guindos will chair a policy panel at the 2026 ECB Annual Research Conference, followed by a keynote speech from ECB Executive Board member Piero Cipollone at 9:00 PM.
Japan will release August export and import data at 7:50 AM Hong Kong time, while the euro zone will publish July industrial production at 5:00 PM. The UK will report August CPI at 2:00 PM and July house price data at 4:30 PM. The U.S. will release August export and import prices at 8:30 PM, August retail sales at 8:30 PM, and the September NAHB housing market index at 10:00 PM.
