CXMT announced at the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention that its fifth-generation technology platform has entered mass production. According to ChainCatcher, the company said the platform reduces the active area half-pitch of its memory array to 11.95 nanometers, raises the capacitor aspect ratio to 45:1, and lowers the core kinetic zone height to 6,762 nanometers.
The company said the fifth-generation process platform significantly improves memory density and increases wafer output by more than 50% under the same conditions compared with the previous generation. A 24GB LPDDR5X product based on the platform has also entered mass production and is being used in mainstream domestic flagship smartphones.
