A new AtlasIntel poll showed Flavio Bolsonaro drawing level with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva as a crisis inside Brazil's Supreme Court weighs on Lula's reelection bid. According to Sina Finance, the poll found both men at about 46% in a runoff if the October presidential election goes to a second round, compared with Lula's 47.1% to 42.6% lead in the previous survey released in late August. The report said the dispute between two justices has energized Bolsonaro's campaign and could turn the election into a referendum on the Supreme Court and Justice Alexandre de Moraes. It added that backlash intensified last week after Justice Andre Mendonca approved the release of private information that appeared to show closer ties between Moraes and Daniel Vorcaro, the former owner of Banco Master SA.
