South Korea Plans Over $100 Billion U.S. Energy Investment to Support AI Buildout

South Korea is set to announce a major energy investment project in the United States to support U.S. artificial intelligence infrastructure. According to ChainCatcher, the proposed agreement could be worth more than $100 billion and would fund up to eight nuclear power plants and one natural gas project. The report also said U.S. President Donald Trump and South Korean President Lee Jae-myung previously reached an agreement to cut most U.S. tariffs from 25% to 15%.
