According to CNBC, Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is buying 80 shares of Bank of New York at roughly $153, lifting its total holding to 320 shares and increasing the trust’s weighting to about 1.25% from 0.95%. The trust started a small position two weeks ago and is adding after the stock fell about 5.5% over the past two sessions.
Bank of New York Chief Financial Officer Dermot McDonogh said at the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference that third-quarter revenue was a little slower than the seasonally stronger second quarter, but remained within management’s guidance from the end of the second quarter. He also said volumes in the capital markets business were strong and had picked back up in September, reiterated the bank’s 6%-7% full-year expense outlook, and said the company remains committed to delivering positive operating leverage again next year.
