Binance to Update Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin Collateral Ratios for Several Assets

According to the announcement from Binance, the exchange will update the Cross Margin Borrow and Transfer-out collateral ratio, the Portfolio Margin collateral ratio, and the Tiered Collateral Ratio for Portfolio Margin Pro for several assets from 2026-09-18 06:00 (UTC). The update is expected to be completed within approximately 30 minutes. Under the Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin changes, ARB, TAO, and WLD will move from 50% to 60%, while AUCTION, BLUR, GALA, HYPER, S, and SYRUP will move from 30% to 10%. Binance also said the Cross Margin Borrow and Transfer-out collateral ratio update will affect only the amount that can be borrowed or transferred out under Cross Margin. For Portfolio Margin, collateral ratio and leverage changes will affect the Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio, or uniMMR, and users are expected to monitor uniMMR closely to reduce the risk of liquidation or losses linked to changes in collateral ratio and leverage. For Portfolio Margin Pro, Binance said WLFI will see tiered collateral ratio adjustments across multiple rank floors and caps. The listed tiers include 60 to 800,000 at 100%, 50 to 1,000,000 at 100%, 800,000 to 1,200,000 at 95%, 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 at 95%, 1,200,000 to 4,000,000 at 75%, 2,000,000 to 5,000,000 at 75%, 4,000,000 to 99,999,999,999 at 50%, and 5,000,000 to 99,999,999,999 at 60%. Binance said the update applies to the specified assets and collateral settings, with the changes scheduled to take effect on the stated date and time.
