STOCKS | High-Net-Worth Investors Buy Leveraged ETFs Tracking Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix

High-net-worth individuals with more than 1 billion won in financial assets have been actively buying leveraged ETFs tied to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. According to Odaily, investors in their 40s made the largest purchases of single-stock leveraged ETFs linked to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. The Seoul Economic Daily, through a major brokerage firm, analyzed the portfolios of 25,000 high-net-worth individuals from May 27 to July 10 this year. The analysis found that three of the top five net-buy targets were single-stock leveraged ETFs linked to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Investors bought 178.1 billion won of the KODEX SK Hynix single-stock leveraged ETF, 140.1 billion won of the TIGER SK Hynix single-stock leveraged ETF, and 116.6 billion won of the KODEX Samsung Electronics single-stock leveraged ETF. The other two top-five targets were also common shares of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
