STOCKS | Intel Raises Some Consumer and Server CPU Prices on Higher Costs and Tight Supply

Intel has confirmed price increases for some consumer and server CPUs, citing rising supply chain costs and demand exceeding supply. According to Odaily, consumer processor prices have risen by $30 to $50, while data center products have increased by as much as several hundred to more than $1,000. Investment bank Wedbush said Intel still has room to raise prices without affecting market demand. Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson wrote in a client note that, given ongoing shortages in server CPU supply, Intel can continue to increase prices without impacting demand.
