2021年秋天，沙纳汉在纽约的一家俱乐部为自己举办了一场以“54俱乐部”(Studio 54，美国知名夜店)主题的生日派对。布林的老朋友马斯克也参加了派对。2021年12月，沙纳汉在迈阿密的一场私人派对上再次见到了马斯克，那场派对由马斯克的弟弟金巴尔·马斯克(Kimbal Musk)为巴塞尔艺术展举办。
