New York crude oil and Brent crude both rose in late trading, while London gold and silver prices fell, according to ETNet. October New York crude was quoted at $93.68 a barrel, up $2.20, or 2.40%. November Brent crude stood at $98.38 a barrel, up $2.10, or 2.18%. London gold was at $4,397.45, down $24.97, or 0.56%. New York gold futures were at $4,439.50, down $37.10, or 0.83%. London silver was at $66.03, down $0.51, or 0.77%, while New York silver futures were at $66.56, down $0.19, or 0.29%.
