Hundreds of Ethereum mainnet wallets are suspected of being attacked by the same address, some of which have been inactive for over 7 years, possibly related to LastPass security notes.

According to anonymous blockchain investigator Wazz, hundreds of wallets were emptied from the same address on the Ethereum mainnet, many of which had been inactive for over seven years. This incident is suspected to be a new type of real-time vulnerability attack. Crypto user Capitulation commented that the most likely vulnerability stemmed from placing mnemonic phrases in LastPass's security notes during 2020/21.
