BNP Paribas and HSBC Join Privacy-Focused Blockchain Network Canton

According to PANews, BNP Paribas and HSBC have joined the privacy-focused blockchain network Canton. This move follows the earlier participation of Goldman Sachs, Hong Kong FMI Services, and Moody's Ratings in March. BNP Paribas stated that joining the network aligns with its digital transformation strategy and demonstrates its willingness to collaborate on blockchain applications for customer service. HSBC views this initiative as a means to enhance liquidity in the digital asset market and support transactions across multiple asset classes.
