Doomberg Sees U.S. Pressure on Allies to Hold Treasuries as Bullish for Bitcoin and Gold

Doomberg said U.S. pressure on allies to continue holding Treasuries is changing how central banks assess reserve assets, and described the long-term outlook for gold and Bitcoin as extremely bullish. According to ChainCatcher, the energy and macro analyst made the remarks in an interview published by Bitcoin Magazine. Doomberg said that during a crisis, countries sell what they can rather than what they want to sell, which he cited as an explanation for gold’s short-term weakness since February 28. He added that younger generations who rely heavily on the internet may be more likely to choose Bitcoin as a reserve asset or store of value.
