BTC Faces $78,500 Test as Traders Watch September 25 and Triple Witching

Bitcoin has weathered the rate-hike shock, and traders are now watching $78,500 and September 25 as the next tests. Most traders view the low near $75,000 as the reference bottom for the current pullback, while the maximum pain level for quarterly options expiry is near $72,000. According to PANews, investors should also watch for tonight's triple witching effect. Since 2012, the S&P 500 has fallen in 12 of 14 similar triple witching sessions.
