ManpowerGroup Hong Kong said its Employment Outlook Survey showed local employers expect hiring sentiment to turn more positive in the fourth quarter, with overall recruitment intentions recovering, according to Ming Pao.
Among 603 employers surveyed, 30% expect to add staff in the next three months, 16% plan to reduce headcount, and 54% do not plan to change current staffing levels next quarter. The seasonally adjusted employment outlook index for next quarter was +14%, up 23 percentage points from the previous quarter, but 15 percentage points below the global average.
