iPhone 18 Pro Drops to 9,099 Yuan on E-Commerce Platform Two Days After Pre-Sale Opens

An e-commerce platform has cut the price of the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro to 9,099 yuan, 900 yuan below Apple's official 9,999 yuan price, according to Jiemian News. The discount consists of a 300 yuan official subsidy and a 600 yuan store coupon, and the checkout page showed the same payable amount. The seller said it would ship by September 27 and would not offer price protection. Apple launched the iPhone 18 Pro series, its first foldable phone iPhone Duo and Apple Watch Series 12 on September 10. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max come with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, an aluminum unibody design, four color options and storage starting at 256GB, with a top 2TB version. Both models use the A20 Pro chip and support faster charging with a compatible 60W adapter. Apple opened pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro series at 8 p.m. on September 12, and the lineup reportedly sold out on multiple platforms in less than a minute. Apple's website was still taking orders later that night, but shipping times for some popular models had slipped to September 30. Taobao Flash Sale data showed first-hour sales of the iPhone 18 Pro doubled from the same period last year for the iPhone 17 Pro, while Apple hardware sales on the platform rose more than 25 times from a normal day. Apple also raised prices for four older models on its China website, including the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17e and iPhone 16. The iPhone Air 1TB version saw the biggest increase, up 2,300 yuan. Separately, Apple stores in Beijing were offering discounts of 500 yuan to 800 yuan on the iPhone 17 series, and Apple's customer service said the company had not issued any official price-cut notice.
