China Securities Association Seeks Industry Feedback on Revised Integrity Rules for Brokerages

China Securities Association has sent a notice to securities firms seeking industry feedback on the draft revised implementation rules for integrity conduct by securities operating institutions and their staff, with comments due by September 29, according to Jiemian News. The revision is said to focus on five areas: strengthening principal responsibility, improving supervision mechanisms, refining internal control requirements, adapting to new business changes, and improving incentive and restraint mechanisms. It also adds multiple clauses aimed at new forms and blind spots in integrity risks that have emerged in the industry in recent years.
