Ukraine Estimates Nearly $10 Billion in Infrastructure Losses This Year as Port Disruptions Weigh on Economy

Ukraine's Economy Minister Oleksandr Kavachenko said losses from Russian airstrikes on Ukraine's infrastructure and fixed assets since 2026 are estimated at nearly $10 billion. According to Sina Finance, he said the combined economic loss from airstrikes and the de facto blockade of ports is equivalent to about 1.5% of GDP, with roughly $40 billion in export revenue at risk.
