China's Ministry of Finance Plans Second Reopening of 2026 Ultra-Long Special Treasury Bonds (Issue 6)

According to Jin10, China's Ministry of Finance plans a second reopening of the 2026 ultra-long special treasury bonds (Issue 6). The reopened bonds are 30-year fixed-rate coupon bonds, with a competitive bidding face value total of 73 billion yuan and no additional bidding for Class A members. The coupon rate is 2.14%, the same as the previously issued bonds of the same maturity. Interest accrues from August 15, 2026, with semiannual coupon payments on February 15 and August 15 each year, and principal plus the final coupon paid on August 15, 2056. The bidding period is from 10:35 to 11:35 on September 16, 2026, distribution will take place on September 17, 2026, and the bonds will be listed and traded together with the previously issued bonds of the same maturity from September 21.
