CSI Index Co. to Launch Shanghai State-Owned Investment Pioneer Industries Index on September 10

CSI Index Co. said on September 9 that it will formally launch the CSI Smart Selection Shanghai State-Owned Investment Pioneer Industries Index on September 10, 2026. The index will provide diversified performance benchmarks and investment targets, according to Jiemian News. It will select 50 Shanghai-listed pioneer industry companies from the mainland and Hong Kong markets whose businesses involve integrated circuits, biomedicine and artificial intelligence, and is designed to reflect the overall performance of the relevant listed companies' securities.
