LX Pantos Flies 11.2 Million Eggs to South Korea From US, Thailand

According to The Korea Herald, LX Pantos has flown 11.2 million fresh eggs to South Korea from the United States and Thailand since mid-June, using 10 chartered freighters to help ease domestic supply disruptions. The shipments totaled 800 metric tons. In the latest operation, two Boeing 747 cargo planes left Los Angeles International Airport, and unloading and delivery were completed at Incheon Airport on Friday. The flights are part of government measures to stabilize egg supplies disrupted by avian influenza and other factors.
