Samsung Electronics, ASML Expand Partnership on Next-Generation Chip Lithography

According to The Korea Herald, Samsung Electronics and Dutch chip equipment maker ASML said Tuesday they will expand their long-standing partnership on next-generation lithography technologies used to make advanced AI chips. The expanded tie-up will focus on high numerical aperture extreme ultraviolet lithography and advanced photomask solutions, which are expected to become more important as chipmakers push semiconductor scaling limits.
