Kaisa Group Extends Deadline For Offshore Debt Restructuring Support Agreement

Kaisa Group Holdings (01813) said holders of about 75.47% of the outstanding principal of the in-scope debt have joined, or agreed and are taking steps to join, its restructuring support agreement. The company extended the deadline for the basic consent fee to September 28 at 5:00 PM Hong Kong time from September 7 at 5:00 PM, after remaining plan creditors said they needed more time to complete internal procedures, according to ETNet. The early consent fee deadline expired on August 17, 2026. Participants who validly joined on or before the early consent fee deadline are entitled to an early consent fee equal to 0.2% of the aggregate principal amount of qualifying restricted debt. Those who validly join after that deadline but on or before the basic consent fee deadline are entitled to a basic consent fee equal to 0.1% of the principal amount. The consent fees will be paid in the form of Series 1 ALC senior notes.
