According to The Korea Herald, South Korea's nominal gross domestic product grew at the fastest pace in 47 years in the second quarter, supported by strong exports and artificial intelligence-related investment. The Bank of Korea said preliminary data showed real GDP, a key measure of economic growth, rose 0.6% in the April-June period from three months earlier, matching the central bank's earlier estimate released last month.
