Iran's Revolutionary Guards: Safe Passage Through U.S. Corridor in the Strait of Hormuz Is No Longer Possible

According to Sina Finance, Ali Mohammadi of Iran's Revolutionary Guards said vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz will no longer be free from the risk of attack once they reach the Khasab area of Oman. He said safe passage through the U.S. corridor in the southern Strait of Hormuz is now effectively impossible. Mohammadi added that the Revolutionary Guards are closely monitoring maritime traffic in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman, and that all ships seeking safe passage through the strait must use the Iranian-designated route.
