STOCKS | Analyst: Data Center Construction Is Driving a Rebound in U.S. Construction Jobs

According to Jin10, market analyst Lydia DePillis said that construction was another industry showing strength when commenting on the U.S. August nonfarm payrolls report. She said the industry had seen job declines last year, but has added an average of about 11,000 jobs per month so far this year, with much of the growth concentrated among nonresidential specialty contractors, including plumbers, electricians, and other skilled trades, as data center construction requires large numbers of these workers.
