Curve DAO Approves yRisk as Risk Provider for crvUSD and Llamalend

Curve DAO approved proposal 1492 on September 2, naming yRisk as the risk provider for crvUSD and Llamalend after a selection process that began in July. According to ChainCatcher, the proposal passed with 621 million veCRV votes in favor and 5.33 votes against, and was executed 87 minutes after voting ended. yRisk will receive a one-year revocable grant that includes 125,000 frxUSD principal held in sfrxUSD and 568,000 CRV. The group had previously requested annual funding of $250,000. The two-person team says it is the main developer of Resupply and a core developer of Yearn and Resupply. Swiss Stake, which reviewed the application, praised yRisk's Curve experience but raised concerns about its limited staffing and ability to monitor multiple Llamalend markets. LlamaRisk, the previous provider, announced on May 29 that it would end its work with Curve early, stopped related work on June 30, and returned about 270,000 crvUSD in unvested funds to the treasury. Curve founder Michael Egorov launched the call for proposals on July 7.
