Asia Pacific Airlines Shifts Most Routes To Charter-Only From September 1

Asia Pacific Airlines (EAA), which operates Hong Kong-Macau cross-border helicopter services, said most of its routes will formally switch to a charter-only operating model from September 1, with all scheduled helicopter services suspended except the Macau-Shenzhen route. The company said the move is a strategic adjustment to its business model, citing the upcoming relocation of Macau Heliport to the new heliport at Macau International Airport's Terminal 2 as well as changes in market conditions. The Macau-Shenzhen route will continue as a scheduled service and is not included in the suspension, according to ETNet. From September 1, Asia Pacific Airlines' charter service will operate five days a week and continue to offer on-demand charter flights, including Greater Bay Area cross-border business charters, Macau sightseeing charters and customised helicopter flight experiences.
