Polymarket Expands Market Integrity Checks Ahead of U.S. Midterm Elections

Polymarket's new global head of investigations and intelligence, Shana Bautista, said the company has systems in place to identify unusual trading activity as the U.S. midterm elections approach. According to Foresight News, Polymarket will continue blocking U.S. users from its international platform to comply with a 2022 settlement with U.S. regulators. The company also plans to launch a new webpage that will outline how its market integrity review tools work, including machine learning, blockchain analysis, and trade monitoring. Polymarket said it has referred more than 100 cases to law enforcement.
