Moody's affirmed TSMC's Aa3 issuer rating and raised its outlook from stable to positive. According to Sina Finance, Moody's said the positive outlook and rating affirmation reflect TSMC's strengthening market position in semiconductor manufacturing, its leading technology, and its ability to benefit from structural growth driven by artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Moody's also said TSMC's long-term financial strength provides a buffer against potential external risks and supports continued expansion of global manufacturing capacity, while the company is expected to keep developing and launching next-generation advanced processes over the next two to three years to maintain its leading position in the foundry industry.
