French video game developer Ubisoft reported first-quarter net bookings of 256 million euros, down 9.2% year on year but slightly above its target of about 250 million euros. The company forecast second-quarter bookings of about 370 million euros, according to 36Kr. Chief Financial Officer Frederick Duguet said more detailed plans for future game development will be disclosed within the next year, and some large-scale projects have been pushed back to fiscal 2028 and fiscal 2029 to improve product quality in an increasingly competitive market.
