AI TRENDS | VanEck’s Matthew Sigel Says Several DAT Companies Have Sold Or Adjusted Bitcoin Holdings

VanEck digital assets research head Matthew Sigel said on X that several public companies using digital asset treasury strategies have abandoned or adjusted their Bitcoin reserve policies since 2026. According to Odaily, Satsuma Technology, Bitdeer, Prenetics, Genius Group, Vaultz Capital and MAIA Biotechnology have sold all of their Bitcoin or other digital asset holdings, while MARA Holdings, Strategy, Nakamoto, Smarter Web Company and Cango sold part of their Bitcoin to repay debt, buy back shares or add working capital. Exodus and DigitalX have also moved from simply holding coins to actively managing digital asset holdings.
