Investors pile into short-term Treasury ETFs after Jamie Dimon warns on long-dated bonds

According to CNBC, investors have been moving into short-term Treasury exchange-traded funds while reducing exposure to longer-dated government bonds after JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warned this week that stocks and bonds could both face pressure. The iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF (SGOV) has taken in $47.5 billion in net inflows this year, making it the biggest bond ETF for inflows and the third-largest bond ETF overall with close to $100 billion in assets. Dimon said in an interview on Monday that he would not buy long-dated Treasurys and put the 10-year bond at 4% to 4.5%; the 10-year Treasury yield was 4.6%.
