SpaceX Set for First Major Share Unlock on August 6 After Q2 Earnings Report

SpaceX is scheduled to release its 2026 second-quarter earnings report on August 4. Two days after the report, eligible insider shares will begin to unlock under the company’s prospectus terms. According to Odaily, the first major unlock is set for August 6, when early shares equal to 8% of total outstanding stock, or 20% of the early lockup pool, will be released. If the stock price has risen 30% above the IPO price and meets that level on five of 10 trading days, an additional 10% can unlock, bringing the maximum unlock on August 6 to 12%. Before SpaceX releases its 2026 third-quarter earnings report, further unlocks of 2.8% each are scheduled for August 21, September 10, September 25, October 12, and October 26.
