WORLD CUP | Tuchel Confirms He Will Stay as England Manager to Euro 2028

Thomas Tuchel confirmed he plans to remain as England manager through to Euro 2028, despite a 2-1 World Cup semi-final loss to Argentina on Wednesday, according to Yahoo Sports. Argentina's Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez scored late goals to send Lionel Messi's reigning champions into the final against Spain. Anthony Gordon had given England the lead in the second half before Argentina mounted a comeback, with Martinez scoring the winner in the 92nd minute. Tuchel, who extended his contract before the tournament, said at his post-match news conference in Atlanta that he had no regrets and is looking forward to the home Euros co-hosted by England, Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
