U.S. Rep. McCaul Says Trump Favors Supporting Ukraine as It Pressures Putin

Michael McCaul said morale is high because Ukraine is “winning,” and argued that U.S. President Donald Trump “likes winners,” while discussing support for Ukraine and pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin. McCaul said he believes there is “moral clarity” in backing Ukraine and that the United States should be “on the right side of history.” He added that increasing pressure on Putin could bring the parties closer to a peaceful negotiation.
