Ferrari’s First EV Luce Priced at 3.988 Million Yuan in China; ‘88-Car’ Sellout Claim Questioned

Ferrari has launched its first all-electric model, the four-door, five-seat Luce, in China with a price tag of 3.988 million yuan, after its Asia debut on June 26, according to Jiemian News. Some media reports said the first 88 units allocated to China had sold out, but Jiemian News’ checks at the retail level found the sales situation unclear. At Ferrari’s Jinbao Street showroom in Beijing, there was no Luce display car or promotional material, and staff did not give clear answers on when a demo car would arrive or whether the first allocation was sold out. Citing Blue Whale News, several authorized Ferrari dealers said the Luce can still be ordered, with a non-refundable deposit of 400,000 to 500,000 yuan; initial deliveries are expected in the third quarter of next year. A Ferrari salesperson outside Beijing also told Jiemian News orders are still being taken, with the wait time to be confirmed after options are finalized.
