Robinhood rolls out public blockchain as it expands deeper into crypto

Robinhood (HOOD) launched the public mainnet for its Layer 2 Robinhood Chain, a network built on Arbitrum (ARB), as it pushes further into tokenized assets and decentralized finance, according to CoinDesk. The launch makes Robinhood’s tokenized stock products fully live, with Stock Tokens available via Robinhood Wallet in more than 120 countries, and adds Robinhood Earn, a decentralized lending product offering an estimated 7% yield on USDG. Robinhood also said it is expanding perpetual futures trading in Europe, plans to launch crypto trading in the U.K., and is now available in Canada after acquiring WonderFi.
