Anthropic has launched Claude Sonnet 5 with introductory pricing of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through August 31. According to NS3.AI, Anthropic said pricing will later revert to $3 per million input tokens and $15 per million output tokens. Anthropic added that the post-promotion pricing remains below Opus 4.8’s rate of $5 per million input tokens and $25 per million output tokens.
