Cipher Digital Hits All-Time High of $30 as Texas Approves ERCOT Grid-Capacity Framework

Texas regulators approved ERCOT’s Batch Zero framework for allocating grid capacity to large electricity users. According to NS3.AI, the approval comes as ERCOT reports a large pipeline of proposed new electricity demand seeking to connect to the grid. ERCOT said more than 438,000 megawatts of proposed demand is currently in its connection queue, with roughly 90% attributed to data centers. Separately, Cipher Digital reached a new all-time high of $30 today, based on The Block’s equities price page.
