Bitcoin rises, holds above 200-week average as ETH and SOL stay below key level

Bitcoin rose 2.4% in 24 hours to around $62,800 and its market dominance climbed to 59% from last week’s 57.9% low, signaling renewed preference for BTC as major altcoins lag. According to CoinDesk, bitcoin has held its 200-week average while XRP, ether (ETH) and solana (SOL) trade below the key technical line. Audiera’s BEAT token is up over 500% in seven days and Velvet’s VELVET has surged about 800% in 30 days. Derivatives data showed $378 million in liquidations, mostly longs, with BTC and ETH puts priced above calls.
