Solana developer cavemanloverboy has introduced SIP-547, a proposal to enhance SOL burning by implementing resource-based base fees. According to NS3.AI, the current base-fee burns amount to 648 SOL per day, which is significantly lower than the daily inflation rate of approximately 60,000 SOL. The proposal seeks to address this imbalance by increasing the amount of SOL burned, potentially stabilizing the network's economic model.
