Goldman Sachs Prime Services has reported that hedge fund clients have been selling semiconductor and equipment stocks over the past month, even as technology shares reach record highs. According to NS3.AI, Vincent Lin from Goldman Sachs explained that this trend is driven by risk management and profit-taking strategies, rather than a departure from the artificial intelligence theme. Lin also noted that short exposure to U.S. index and ETF macro products has increased to a 10-year high.
