China and U.S. Officials Discuss Trade Relations in Video Call

Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, leading the Chinese side in trade talks, held a video call with U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Trade Representative Katherine Tai. According to Odaily, the discussions focused on implementing the consensus reached during the meeting between the leaders of China and the U.S. in Busan, as well as previous communications. The dialogue aimed at addressing mutual concerns in economic and trade issues and expanding practical cooperation. China expressed serious concerns over recent U.S. trade restrictions on China.
