Lyn Alden provides insights into the current monetary environment, noting a gradual increase in the Federal Reserve's balance sheet rather than rapid money printing. According to NS3.AI, she discusses the tension between the Federal Reserve's independence and political influence, as well as the evolving global monetary order where gold and Bitcoin are gaining institutional recognition. Alden highlights the impact of the long-term debt cycle on economic and geopolitical instability. She emphasizes the importance of a multipolar reserve asset system that includes gold and cryptocurrencies. Despite Bitcoin's recent underperformance compared to gold, Alden maintains cautious optimism about its future. For investors, Alden recommends a diversified portfolio approach.
