Tibo added that the new version introduced problems affecting some multi-agent workflows, plugin functionality, and other aspects of the user experience. OpenAI’s first set of improvements includes adjusting default settings and the model selector to reduce accidental use of higher-cost configurations, fixing multiple plugin submission issues, improving how Codex is presented within the product, and addressing some desktop experience problems. OpenAI said it has spent the past 24 hours collecting user feedback, analyzing usage, and communicating with users. The company also acknowledged multiple issues with the update. OpenAI has completed two usage-quota top-ups for Codex and ChatGPT Work so far. It said a larger update is scheduled for next week, with chat and project functions returning to the sidebar in a more familiar and customizable format. The update will also increase visibility into usage quotas and reset times and further clarify the respective use cases for ChatGPT Work and Codex.

Since then, Deutsche Bank said conditions have been mixed: oil prices and inflation expectations eased but later partially rebounded, and the unemployment rate fell further. The bank said it does not rule out a dissenting vote in support of a rate hike at the July meeting.

An analyst said Apple received a semiconductor tariff exemption after committing to use Intel foundries. According to Odaily, Citrini analyst Jukan wrote on X that The Wall Street Journal reported Apple obtained the exemption after making the commitment. Jukan said Apple will produce Mac chips at Intel and will also manufacture iPhone chips there.

The White House confirmed on the 10th that U.S. President Donald Trump removed two sitting members of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, leaving all four seats on the commission vacant. According to Odaily, earlier reports said Trump removed Democratic members Thomas Hicks and Benjamin Hovland on the 9th and accepted the resignation of Republican member Christy McCormick.
