World Enters Phase 3 of Project Development, Expands World ID Use Cases

World said its project has entered Phase 3 in its third year, with plans to expand its proof of human system across more use cases, including verified participation in Zoom meetings, bot prevention for Tinder matching, and anti-scalping concert ticket sales. According to ChainCatcher, the World ID network now covers more than 390 million users worldwide. The company said the next stage will further extend proof of human to consumer platforms, enterprise customer verification, and human identity binding for AI agents. It also plans to launch a new version of the World ID app and announce further progress this fall.
