Tether aims to expand its market presence in Latin America, Asia, and Africa, while considering the issuance of a new stablecoin in the U.S. However, the company emphasizes its primary mission to serve emerging markets with weak financial infrastructure. Currently, Tether does not directly serve U.S. customers, but users on U.S. platforms can still access USDT. If Tether decides to issue USDT in the U.S., it will face stricter regulations and comprehensive audits.
