Taiwan Bars Cathay SITE From Offshore Trust Fund Applications for One Year

Taiwan has barred Cathay Securities Investment Trust, the asset-management arm of Cathay Financial Holding, from applying to launch offshore securities investment trust funds for one year after a former director’s outside role breached conflict-of-interest rules, according to Bloomberg.
