Zhang Xiaoquan (301055.SZ) rose 11.68% at the open on August 28 before reversing to close the morning session up 4.54% at 30.88 yuan, giving it a market value of 4.817 billion yuan, according to Jiemian News. The move came after a knife-and-nail-clipper promotional poster bearing the company’s logo spread on social media; the company’s online flagship store said it had not known about the poster in advance and that it was not an official Zhang Xiaoquan advertisement.
Jiemian News reported that Zhang Xiaoquan posted first-half 2026 revenue of 557 million yuan, up 17.99% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of 34.6896 million yuan, up 26.14% from 27.502 million yuan a year earlier. Net profit excluding non-recurring items rose 23.11% to 32.7575 million yuan. The company also proposed a cash dividend of 1 yuan per 10 shares, based on 156 million shares, with no bonus shares or capital reserve transfer.
The company said its industrial scissors business mainly covers fabric scissors, tube scissors and garment scissors, and that its downstream customers are mainly textile and apparel firms, after denying market rumors that the business had entered the optical module, PCB and new-energy supply chains. In April, Zhang Xiaoquan shares rose for five straight trading days, gaining 45.65% in total.
